You will be analysing supply chain data to ensure stock availability, placing purchase orders and transferring stock, and maintaining purchase and pricing reports. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Coordinates stock control operations with warehouse team, and liaises with the store manager, store teams, Distribution centre finance department. Manages the Purchase order process for stock, equipment, and all supplies in retail end to end – creations to receipt and checking versus invoice with Head of Retail Tracks shipping and inventory data in the back office system Uses our inventory back office to check in products and compare deliveries to outstanding purchase orders Analyses supply chain data and sales performance to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock. Collaborates with Store, Warehouse and DC to determine when products are missing from deliveries and contact suppliers in regards to damaged products and relevant credits Keeps track of inventory and supplies that need restocking Oversees the creations and management of stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labelling. Forecasts supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock. Verifies receipts and confirms purchase contents and orders are complete Maintains accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred. Previous experience as a stock controller in a similar industry ideally. Proficiency in inventory management software. In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices. Extensive experience in supply chain data analysis. Great analytical and problem-solving skills. Superb negotiation, collaboration, and communication abilities. Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
