Main Function of the Job: Ensure that machinery and site is maintained to high standard through preventative programmes and effective breakdown maintenance. Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with H&S and quality standards. Lead, organise and develop processes and systems to ensure a robust and effective preventative and breakdown maintenance service Ensure high levels of machine and extrusion tooling reliability, upkeep of assets and site Ensure strong root cause analysis process Increase efficiencies and minimise costs Ensure parts, stock and services are appropriate, timely and cost effective Contribute to the assessment of new equipment/machinery and effective install Evaluate, select and manage maintenance subcontractors Maximise the benefits from our existing Agility Maintenance Management Software. Provide ongoing preventive maintenance training to Production Operatives Contribute to company-wide health & safety programme and associated risk assessments. Provide training as required. The Person: Time served electrical/mechanical, NVQ qualified or equivalent Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in machinery maintenance Experience & knowledge of machinery with temperature controllers, DC drives and variable speed AC controllers would be an advantage Must have a hands on approach support and assist the maintenance team as required.
