About the Job
Are you ready to lead the charge in crafting and delivering impactful communication strategies for a forward-thinking university? As the Research, Impact, and Corporate Communications Manager at UEL, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and sharing the University’s narrative.
Focusing on key areas such as sustainability, health, and the data economy, you will design, implement, and evaluate research communication strategies that align with our Vision 2028 goals. This dynamic and highly visible role will also oversee key corporate communication projects, positioning and promoting strategic people, products, and initiatives to diverse audiences.
Your strong strategic mindset will be matched by your ability to create captivating written and digital content, transforming complex ideas into compelling narratives that resonate with key stakeholders. You will also leverage your understanding of social media and digital platforms to build and enhance UEL’s reputation and credibility.
About You
You are a creative and strategic communicator with:
* Proven experience in corporate communications and research communications.
* Strong writing skills, with expertise across various channels and formats.
* A passion for building and nurturing internal and external relationships.
* The ability to translate complex ideas into accessible and engaging content.
* A self-starter attitude, thriving in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
* Experience working in Higher Education (preferable but not essential).
In addition to these qualities, you are highly detail-oriented, possess exceptional presentation skills, and are enthusiastic about inspiring colleagues to promote UEL’s research.
