Qualifications
Essential Criteria
1. Must be State Registered Clinical Scientist in sub-modality of Genetics
2. Must have written component of FRCPath part 1 in one of Genetics options
Desirable Criteria
1. PhD in Genetics/Genomics
Experience
Essential Criteria
1. Evidence of ambition to progress career from past history as given in application
2. Evidence of innovation work which has resulted in a service development (science or leadership)
3. Evidence of managing and leading in a genetic laboratory section
4. Evidence of reporting complex laboratory results correctly
5. Evidence of proactive role in teaching or training
Desirable Criteria
1. Evidence of service development - research and translation to service practice
2. Evidence of interest in professional by active membership of Trust, Regional and National Committees
