Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Stockport Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £425 - £475 Per week Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN Helping students to develop their social and communication skills Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Relevant experience or training in supporting individuals with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and techniques Education: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Experience working with children or young adults with SEN Understanding of different learning styles and abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Additional training in specific areas of SEN support Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Working within a school environment Potential for additional training and professional development opportunities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
