GENERAL DUTIES :
The Management Controller manages the financial data for the Industrial Activity: Ready-to-wear in England and Bespoke in Paris.
In this context :
1. He/she analyzes financial data in order to assess the performance of production activities,
2. He/she proposes and implements monitoring and control tools to make information reliable and transparent,
3. He/she identifies areas for improvement in both finance and processes,
4. He/she is responsible for internal control of production activities.
As Business Partner to the Industrial Director - member of the Management Committee, he/she builds constructive cooperation with him/her.
The position will be based in England (with regular visits to Paris).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
1. Controlling
Industrial Cost Pricing (ICP):
5. Reliability of Standard ICP by item,
6. Updating nomenclatures,
7. Creation of cost prices for new collections, enabling us to define sales prices to customers,
8. Medium-term work on real ICP per item.
Reporting, KPIs and dashboards:
9. Weekly and monthly reports covering analyses of wholesale sales, production and order volumes, inventories, margins and headcount,
10. Sharing and distribution to the relevant operational staff.
Accounting closures:
11. Inventory valuation and provisions,
12. Margin analysis,
13. Review of costs (labor, raw materials, materials,, analysis of variances vs. budget and history,
14. Transmission of data to the Consolidation Controlling Manager so that he can close the accounts of JL&Co and JL SAS.
Budget, re-estimates, B+2:
15. Process management for investments, direct and indirect costs, production capacity, headcount,
16. Recommendation of corrective actions,
17. Transmission of data to the Consolidation Controlling Manager so that he can integrate the data into JL&Co and JL SAS.
Capital expenditure:
18. Budget monitoring,
19. Optimization of investments by challenging the necessity of each investment,
20. Verification that third parties are properly tendered prior to investment acquisition.
2. Internal Control
21. Disseminate a spirit of internal control within the workshop and plant,
22. Deploy, adapt and explain Group procedures, and check that they are applied to all aspects of purchasing, safety, inventory, human resources, etc,
23. Carry out periodic internal controls,
24. Draw up and monitor the Internal Control Plan for the 2 production units,
25. Participate in CHIC questionnaires to be forwarded to the Group,
26. Check physical inventories, analyze and comment on discrepancies, and make recommendations to improve results.

Maintain and manage rate bases, Validate prices, Monthly reconciliation of Customized sales and invoicing, for transmission to accounting department, Review of monthly hours worked by custom-made craftsmen, Participation in system upgrades: M3/Agora/Navision in collaboration with John Lobb's IT project manager, Participation in site renovation projects.
PROFILE :
28. Higher education (university or business school)
29. Approx. 6 years' experience as an Industrial Management Controller on site
