About Hinkley Point C
The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.
Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year, or 600 million tonnes over its 60-year lifespan.
What you'll be doing
As a Construction Administrator, you will have the following responsibilities,
* Coordinate the mobile crane bookings to support construction activities.
* Coordinate the tower crane bookings to support construction activities.
* Verify and account for mobile crane attendance on site (durations of hire)
* Coordinate the locations of MEH Alliance mobile cranes with the wider project.
* Develop proposals to improve construction use of mobile cranes.
* Support the Site Wide Team as required with emergent and ongoing scope.
* Management of crane use database including data entry
* Supporting the Site Wide Lifting Lead to deliver the scope.
* Weekly and accurate reporting.
Who we're looking for
Do you have?
* Experience coordinating for construction site activities will be a benefit but not essential.
* Ability to produce reports in Excel.
* Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
* Major Projects Experience – desired.
