The Client Experience (CX) team, situated within the Technology & Operations organization, is responsible for operational client servicing, working in partnership with our client businesses and teams across the firm to drive, enhance and deliver an exceptional client service experience. Our vision is to make BlackRock easy to do business with, and to deliver clients a high quality service experience across all products, using optimized technology to drive growth.
Within Client Experience Transformation (CXT), the Business Analysis team is responsible for the ongoing development of new strategic and tactical platform tools spanning Client Experience Management, Wealth, Whole Portfolio Servicing, Digital Transformation, Client Onboarding, Reporting and Invoicing.
The Business Analysis team tackles strategic and tactical projects based on benefits including return on investment. Projects generally rely on process streamlining and automation to improve the overall client experience. Team members gain a broad understanding of BlackRock's asset and risk management business (including our Aladdin platform) and will increase their exposure to both engineering and project management.
Responsibilities
* Work with CXT, technical leads, business owners and the Aladdin Engineering and Product teams through the whole SDLC, analysing, understanding and refining systems requirements, designing solutions and working with engineers to build and implement
* Analyzing and evaluating business processes and requirements to identify areas for improvement or enhancement
* Crafting solutions to business challenges by working closely with partners to understand their needs and translating them into functional specification
* Conducting and communicating data analysis to support decision-making
* Define test strategy and maintain test & use cases to facilitate user acceptance and regression testing
* Participating in the design and implementation of systems and processes to support investment operations
* Collaborate closely with team members locally and in a multi-office, multi-country environment

Skills & Experience
* Preferably financial services experience, ideally in investment management
* 2-4 years experience in a BA role
* Strong understanding of Business Analysis techniques
* Proven track record in delivering projects and implementing solutions
* Experience of MS Visio, Azure Dev Ops & Miro is desirable
* Passion for learning, development and deployment of solutions in the constantly evolving AI/GenAI arena
* Working knowledge of PowerPoint preferrable
* Project Management methodology and standard processes desirable
* Candidates should possess a high level of self-motivation, accountability, and adaptability
* Be flexible, dynamic and passionate about using technology to drive return on investment
* Demonstrate a proactive positive "can do" attitude and contribute as a partner within a global team
* Be very organized and focused, with practiced skills in operating effectively to tight deadlines within a high risk and high-volume environment
* Diligent with the capacity for working effectively and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information and summarize issues
* Possess the ability to communicate well to all levels across business and technology
