Ergonomics Lead - 12 Month Contract
East Cheshire
Circa £450 per day (Outside IR35)

If so, an excellent opportunity has arisen to step into a role where you will lead ergonomics initiatives, driving health and wellbeing across a dynamic campus. You'll manage MSD risk assessments, ensure compliance with manual handling and display screen equipment regulations, and promote continuous improvement.
By fostering engagement and coaching colleagues, you'll contribute to a culture of safety and wellbeing, while sharing best practices and supporting broader company-wide health strategies.
The contract is a hybrid role, and with a leading global pharmaceutical company for a 12-month contract/project.
The responsibilities of the Ergonomics Lead will be:
* Provide general ergonomics advice to all colleagues on site whilst building effective working relationships with all functions
* Oversee and manage processes for MSD risk assessments and risk evaluations for industrial ergonomics and display screen equipment
* Promote system improvements, engagement, and communication
* Lead the implementation and management of the Industrial Ergonomics Solution across campus, fostering a culture of continuous ergonomics improvement.
* Coach, support, and advise colleagues; conduct regular user group meetings to share best practices whilst providing regular reports on key performance indicators and improvement plans.
* Ensure compliance with manual handling and display screen equipment regulations.
* Contribution for company-wide Health and Wellbeing strategies and sharing best practices across sites
The successful Ergonomics Lead will have:
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within pharmaceuticals or a related industry
* A qualifying degree in Ergonomics accredited by CIEHF or an equivalent degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification in Ergonomics.
* Membership as a Technical or Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF).Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues at all levels
