Job Description Job Title: Seasonal (Live in possible) Housekeeper and Bar Steward Department: Holgates Ribble Valley Responsible To: Site Manager Responsible For: N/A Accommodation: Can be provided but we would also love to hear from Locals Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for ensuring that high standards are maintained, health & safety requirements are adhered to and customer service standards are exceeded. You will be hands-on, undertaking a wide range housekeeping tasks. Our Housekeeping team look after the cleanliness and presentation of our hire fleet accommodation, as well as on-park facilities which are open to holiday makers and holiday homeowners. You are expected to meet deadlines guests must experience exceptional standards of cleanliness alongside excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Daily cleaning of the complex facilities, offices, caravans, lodges, cottages and holiday home sales units. Ensuring that the facilities and accommodation units are cleaned efficiently and to a consistently high standard Ensure all holiday homes have a clean and accurate inventory upon customers’ arrival. Ensuing that all equipment including smoke/CO2 detectors and fire extinguishers, fridges and freezers, cookers and microwaves are checked during every clean to ensure that they are in good working order and reporting any issues to the Site Manager. Ensure that customers and guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent and personalised service. Report all customer lost property to the Site Manager promptly. Take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of all stock, equipment and keys throughout the day. Check accommodation units and site buildings for signs of damage/theft, notifying the Site Manager as required. Ensure that standards of personal appearance and hygiene are maintained in line with Company requirements. Ensure compliance to statutory and company regulations and health & safety guidelines including fire and emergency, follow correct procedures and wear appropriate PPE as applicable Ensure that chemicals and equipment are only used appropriately in line with COSHH regulations and risk assessments. Ensure that all relevant health and safety checks are undertaken, and that any potential risks or hazards are reported promptly Ensure compliance with company and park policies and procedures. Always comply with data protection regulations and company procedures when handling other employee and/or customer details. Such information must not be communicated to anyone other than authorised persons. Undertake any other duties as required by your Site Manager and/or the Board of Directors. In addition to the House keeping duties, the role requires working in our small and friendly on site Bar every other weekend, serving customers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Taking payments from customers and basic cash handling. Undertake basic cellar management, changing beer barrels over and rotating stock during a shift. Ensure that all guests in the bar are looked after with the utmost care. Take decisive decisions with disruptive or inebriated guests asking them to leave the bar and reporting the behaviour on to the Park Manager.
