We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.
What will you be doing?
Manage and control all aspects of the Supply Chain Procurement process working across the full Supply Chain within PSCM and the product value chains.
* Plans, manages, and co-ordinates all Procurement Management activities in the support of our Clients
* Manage team of buyers, senior buyers, and subcontract specialists
* Provide leadership and guidance to support the development of direct and indirect reports, and the Procurement and Supply Chain Management department within Lifecycle UK
* Ensures that all Procurement Management personnel carry out their duties in accordance with Project and Company policies and procedures
* Ensures that all Procurement Management personnel abide by and enforce ethical practice in all dealings with suppliers.
* Ensure all direct reports are fully aligned with the overall PSCM strategy, and are adding value to the department as a whole to generate maximum customer satisfaction.
* Ensure all Purchase orders are processed in accordance with relevant processes and procedures and in accordance with the Qualified Suppliers List (QSL)
* Ensures continued development of Procurement Management procedures and systems.
* Maintains a primary interface with project managers, other departments and company management to ensure requirements are understood and actioned.
* Participates with estimating and other departments in defining and developing the scope of Procurement Management work, and in co-ordinating estimates, schedules, forecasts and budgets for projects.
We think you should have:
* Demonstrable experience of leading a team of supply chain specialists
* Evidence of managing and motivating a team
* Demonstrable experience in Team Development and Continual Professional Development
* Proven ability to negotiate Commercial Contracts with Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders
* Proven Development of Key Relationships with Supplier base and internal Customer Relationship development
* Business Degree / CIPS Qualified or equivalent level 5
* HNC/HND with relevant experience
* Relevant experience can compensate
* Leadership, and the ability to guide and develop subordinates
* Ability to remain confident and professional when dealing with challenging situations, and help others to do likewise.
* Create a culture of continuous improvement.
* Provide the best solutions in terms of quality, delivery and cost, and ensure success is articulated succinctly throughout the business.
* Be a self-starter capable of working independently and as a team member.
* Ability to provide clear direction and encouragement to others.
* Ability to effectively manage workload.
* Demonstrate effective time management and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Be accommodating and receptive to change.
* Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
* Confident communicator both verbally and written.
* Good contractual and commercial awareness.
* Visibly display ethical behaviour and integrity. Act as a role model within the PSCM team.
