As our National Account Manager, you will be covering the UK working with OEMs, End-Users and distribution partners, selling technical and industrial component solutions. You'll have the experience, confidence, and autonomy to help drive forward your sales strategy to ensure existing clients grow and develop.
BASIC SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000

LOCATION: Home based - National Coverage - 1-2 days per month in the Northamptonshire office
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As our National Account Manager, this role will keep you close to our clients and you'll be a pivotal part of our commercial team. Working closely with the Head of Sales, European BDMs, Internal Sales, and Technical support, you'll be one of the key faces of the business. Our main focus is to nurture and grow existing accounts.
Your duties & accountabilities will include:
1. Proactively developing and maintaining strong relationships with our Top 10 clients (currently generating £1.5M of revenue) and gaining a true understanding of the capacity within each client.
2. Identifying new business opportunities within those accounts to cultivate, develop and maximise relationships.
3. Working closely with the internal sales team to continuously communicate with the wider customer base (1200) across Distributors, Resellers, and OEMS.
4. Collaborating with the technical team to secure opportunities arising from new product introductions, innovations and design capabilities.
5. Achieving a sales target of £1.8m.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You'll be able to demonstrate previous success within a National role, being proactive in managing, growing and nurturing existing accounts; comfortable and confident in a customer facing environment, with the autonomy to manage your own diary to service our existing clients.
Most likely you will have:
1. A proven track record of commercial success within sales and account management, ideally from a technical environment with an industrial component.
2. The ability to demonstrate how you have developed and grown existing clients; both national businesses and smaller independents.
3. Achieved £1M+ targets.
