This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of an established multi-disciplinary team. You will manage a caseload of patients and provide support to junior members of the therapy team. You will also work in new and innovative ways with partner organizations, ensuring that community beds are used efficiently.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a self-motivated, autonomous, proactive practitioner committed to professional development. Practitioners must have demonstrable post-registration experience to bring their skills to our team.
You will be based in the inpatient unit at Teddington Memorial Hospital, where you will use your experience and clinical expertise to ensure that the team delivers high quality, holistic patient care.

Person Specification
Experience
* Significant experience of carrying out specialist OT assessments and intervention.
* Documented evidence of appropriate continuing professional development.
* Experience of working across health and social care boundaries and within multi-agency/disciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Education
* Degree and Professional Occupational Therapy qualification.
* Registered with HPC.
* Registered with BAOT/COT.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
* Ability to manage complex clinical cases.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Ability to assess risk and work effectively with colleagues to address them in a timely manner.
* Ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* IT user skills, including Microsoft Office applications and the use of electronic patient records system.
* Mentoring and supervision skills.
