You will work on our utility vegetation management contracts primarily in relation to new or existing transmission powerlines, railways, and general forestry work. Duties will include utility tree chainsaw operations, assisted felling operations, tree climbing operations, chipper operations, felling on steep and wet ground, felling to forestry machines, roadside vegetation removal and small-scale felling operations.
Experience and certification at chainsaw or arboriculture would be desired for this role, however, training can be available for the right candidates. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, show initiative and be capable of working as part of our expanding professional team. You should also be willing to work in all weather conditions and have knowledge of working in remote environments.
All applicants will be required to undergo an employment medical examination including a drugs and alcohol screening. Applicants should also hold a full driver’s licence.
Nightshift supplement for weekdays and weekends, subsistence for equipment, subsistence for staying away from home, storm cover allowance and annual bonus scheme. Potential earnings ranging from £40,000.00 per annum to £65,000.00 per annum (inclusive of overtime, bonuses, subsistence).
