The Recpool Group are working with a market leading payroll specialist, who, due to significant success are looking to expand their operation and add an experienced full time Payroll Administrator to the current payroll team in their Liverpool city centre office.
Operating as a key component within the business, the successful candidate would assist in providing high volume payroll support to agency contractors and limited company workers within the UK recruitment sector on a daily and weekly basis.
Due to the nature of the role my client would only be looking to progress applications from candidates who have at least two recent years experience processing payroll within the UK payroll sector and can demonstrate a good knowledge within this field.
The role itself is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the business payroll to its clients along with any payroll related administrative functions with the key responsibilities being but not limited to –
* Manage the daily activities of the payroll support
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of new client setups and data updates
* Understanding of agency payroll to accurately process the payroll by the correct payment method
* Process agency imports in accordance with correct payment dates and terms
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation
* Quickly resolve any payroll queries across areas like PAYE, tax, and compliance
* Input all timesheets received from the agency in time for the daily payroll run
* Ensuring all invoices in the sales ledger are paid by the agency in accordance with their terms
* Ensure that confidentiality and security of payroll information is maintained
* Reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Experience required for the role:
* Previous full cycle UK payroll process experience
* Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
* Invoice management with accuracy
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Have recently worked in a similar role within the last two years
