As the Multi-Skilled Technician (Shift), you will carry out fault finding/breakdown and Preventative Maintenance repairs on equipment to ensure equipment downtime is minimised to ensure achievement of the production plan.

Your responsibilities:
1. Providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
2. Improve OEE through the application of TPM and other Lean tools increasing the mean time between failures (MTBF) while reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR).
3. Analyse equipment reliability and generate ideas for solving chronic issues related to equipment on lines, coating lines for prototype samples. Initiate solutions, new projects, and improvements.
4. Carry out investigations in safety and breakdown events via 4CP, RCA techniques.
5. Participate in Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Programs to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
6. Work in a safe manner to minimise equipment downtime.
7. Operate as a member of the maintenance team, contributing ideas and practical solutions to problems.
8. Ensure all engineering work practices meet current EHS legislation and apply Group EHS policies.
Requirements for the role:
1. Qualified to HNC in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
2. Knowledge of Lean/CI tools (5S, TPM, RCA, PDCA).
3. Experience working in a highly regulated COMAH environment.
4. Experience/knowledge of Atex/DSEAR maintenance inspection requirements.
