GRG Executive Search are exclusively partnering with a IT Services & Telecommunications business at the forefront of their industry based in London, in their search for a Group Head of Procurement. This role will lead the entirety of the Procurement & Supplier Relationships for the business focusing on transformation and centralisation of processes and policy. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a coherent procurement strategy, aligned with the organisation’s goals Oversee the procurement process including sourcing, purchasing and inventory management; Manage procurement documentation and records Drive consolidation of suppliers where appropriate Identify opportunities for cost savings and system, tool and process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements Own and deliver annual cost savings targets Conduct regular audits and reviews of procurement activities; Supplier Relationships and Negotiations Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure that the business is positioned to secure optimum pricing and terms in both the short and long term Negotiate supplier contractual terms for all cost categories Evaluate and monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. establish, and drive a regular supplier management service review for top key suppliers. Take part in, and where appropriate lead, cross functional projects to deliver improvements to cost base, supplier terms and ability to deliver excellent services to customers; Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost base Proactive engagement with product team to agree renewal strategy and approach for each Develop, optimise and own the group-wide purchasing process, ensuring appropriate controls are balanced with the requirement to execute quickly and efficiently Communicate procurement policies and procedures across the organisation and conduct regular reports and updates (and exceptions reporting) to Management team Identify process failures systematically, addressing them and eliminating the possibility of recurrence. Establish robust due diligence and review procedures to ensure legal and compliance risks within vendor management are appropriately assessed and mitigated Develop performance indicators for procurement and to monitor performance against agreed targets and to ensure the timely production of reports and statistical information; Change Management Generate and lead projects to deliver step change improvements to the Group’s cost base and ability to deliver high quality services to its customers. The Ideal Candidate: Strong Procurement Experience specifically in I.T or Telecommunications Must have experience within a Managed Service Provider Experience Leading Procurement & Supplier Relationship functions Experience reporting back to C-Suite Experience centralising procurement within an organisation that has grown either through acquisition
