Assist in the delivery of neuropsychologically-informed rehabilitation on the specialised rehabilitation unit of the Haywood Hospital. The post-holder will work under the supervision of the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist. The post holder will be expected to deliver test materials and to be able to concentrate for long periods of time to complete assessments and writing up the results. The post holder may be required to work with clients who are highly distressed, anxious or hostile and will experience sensitive situations on a weekly basis. The client group will include people with a range of organically induced behaviour management disorders. Working independently to a plan agreed with a qualified clinical psychologist and the unit multi-disciplinary team. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits and projects, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. The post holder will need to be able to travel between community appointments.
