We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Student Engagement Officer at UCEN Manchester on a fixed term (12 Months Maternity Cover), full time (35 hours per week) basis.
This role will support the provision of targeted and timely interventions/support for students deemed ‘at risk’ and will act as a main contact for these students, via a case load approach working across multiple sites.
In order to do this, you will need:
1. Qualified to level 6 (Degree or relevant professional qualification)
2. Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in numeracy and literacy
3. Evidence of supporting and working with students in a higher educational setting
4. Evidence of experience in providing and delivering support for academic and personal development in a higher educational setting
5. Experience of using IT systems to monitor and track progress
6. Demonstrable record of achievement against targets and deadlines
