Teacher with TLR2 to Lead Curriculum Development in Literacy

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills? Are you passionate about the teaching of reading and writing? If so, Teagues Bridge Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic, imaginative, and experienced teacher to drive an ambitious curriculum and implement strategies to support teaching and learning across the school.
Senior Leaders and Governors want to appoint a Literacy Lead who will raise standards in writing and reading across the curriculum. An integral part of the role will be to monitor and evaluate literacy and support staff with its development through a peer-coaching approach. Our ambition is that all children leave Teagues Bridge Primary School as literate individuals who have a love of reading and writing and are well prepared for the next stage of their education.

A DBS Check at the appropriate level will be required prior to any offer of employment, and this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role is in regulated activity and requires a children’s barred list check.
The appointment will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance for the successful applicant. A disclosure notification must be completed prior to the interview process and returned to school. Online checks are carried out for those candidates that are shortlisted.
