An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager - PowerGen Sales to join Rolls-Royce Power Systems in East Grinstead.
In this role, you will achieve set sales/order targets with accountability for one or more RR Solutions product lines. Continuously develop customer relationships and establish potential routes for new business opportunities. Take responsibility for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction whilst acting as an ambassador for the Rolls-Royce brand and mtu product line.
What you will be doing
* Manage accounts to achieve agreed sales objectives
* Liaise with specified customers, the internal factory/workshop, and sub-suppliers to take the lead in resolution of customer issues (e.g., order management, installation, technical & after-sales)
* Responsibility for accurate & quality forecasting in Rolls-Royce Solutions ordering tool
* Confirm customer's technical specifications to order administrators
* Demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness and pull together offer costing sheets and framework proposals
* Process applications for additional discounts where necessary for strategic projects
* Support the PowerGen Sales department with input on future Sales trends and market conditions for agreed mtu product line (i.e., future growth or challenges)
* Network, create new relationships and leverage existing partners
* Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
* Work effectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders to upsell Rolls-Royce standard products and, where appropriate, challenge our offering and strive for continuous product improvement.
Who we're looking for
* High level of commercial awareness
* Manufacturing experience desirable
* A people person with exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
* Technical product experience in Power Generation, preferably within the gas engine sector
* Understanding of power generation sector considered advantageous
* A resilient & ambitious character, able to work with all customers and stakeholders
* The ability to speak German is desirable but by no means essential
