You will have 3 National 4’s or equivalent.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the supervision of teams of offenders and assessment of their work and attitude while undertaking the Unpaid Work Requirements of Community Payback Orders.
The Individual
You will have supervisory experience, practical work experience in the field of painting, decorating, gardening, joinery or building. You will have knowledge of risk assessment and of health and safety in the workplace, with good communications skills and the ability to provide written reports. You will be willing to undergo training as required with the ability to work in a flexible work rota including regular evening and weekend working. A full, current driving licence is required. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
