Job summary BLMK ICS is seeking a Mental Health Learning Disabilities and Autism (MHLDA) Director (on a 2 year secondment or fixed-term basis with potential for a permanent role) to lead the next stage of the establishment of a Collaborative between Central & North-West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL), East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) and Bedfordshire Luton & Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board (BLMK ICB) i.e. the commissioners and NHS providers for mental health, learning disabilities and autism health services for BLMK residents. Our aim is to work together to improve outcomes, quality, value and equity for people with, or at risk of mental health problems, people with a learning disability and people who require support for neurodiversity across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be employed by the ICB and accountable to all three organisations and will demonstrate a strong commitment to, and experience of, co-production with service users and staff. They will work closely with collaborative partners and wider partners across health, local authorities, VCSE and local communities. Main duties of the job This is an opportunity to demonstrate system leadership skills and establish a strong foundation for a new way of working that will deliver true integration and improved outcomes and services for our population. Lead the transition to a new Collaborative team approach, including: o Development of the people resourcing model for the Collaborative teamo Leading, with partners, any required organisational change processeso Developing and leading the delivery of, organisational development for the new team approacho Developing an operating model to embed the new team approach within and across the three partners, including in particular business partnering arrangements with corporate services.
