Description
* Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
* Play the role of a coach to the team, helping them to self-organise and perform at their best.
* Identify and remove impediments that obstruct the team's pursuit of its sprint goals.
* Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions.
* Foster a collaborative environment where open communication and sharing of ideas is encouraged.
* Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is constantly prioritised.
* Promote and enforce the correct use of Scrum process.
* Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team.
Profile
A successful Scrum Master should have:
* A solid understanding of and background in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
* Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
* The ability to teach and coach teams about Agile and Scrum methodologies.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
