We are currently working with a local primary setting who are seeking a full-time, long-term SEND teaching assistant with primary school experience to work 1-to-1 with a lovely young girl in reception class. This is a 1-to-1 role with a child who is severely autistic and does struggle to bond; however, once she does, she is very good with instruction. We are hopeful of making a long-term placement to support her development this academic year and potentially beyond for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1-to-1 support to a child with special educational needs.
2. Work collaboratively with the DSL & SENCo to support the child's development.
3. Follow instructions and guidance to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Requirements:
1. Previous in-school experience (minimum 2 months).
2. Qualifications are not compulsory but would be beneficial.
This role will be working Monday to Friday from 08:30 until 15:20, term-time only. You will be paid on a weekly basis, starting from £95.29 based on experience and qualifications. This position is an immediate start; however, they may be looking to appoint an additional TA from October due to staffing changes internally.
If you feel this could be the right next point in your career, we would love to hear from you. Therefore, please apply today, and our local consultant will be in touch to discuss the role in more detail with you.

This is a temporary position unless stated otherwise.
