Commissioning and Compliance Assistant needed in Nottingham, £16.10ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1486832
Tasks
• Data management
• Collate, input and analyse performance management data provided by stakeholders and suppliers for Transport and Travel services.
• Prepare performance and compliance management reports utilising the Strategic Passenger Transport Framework to inform network efficiency reviews and the scrutiny of contracts.
• Effective input into the delivery, monitoring and management of all costs associated with service delivery.
Communication
• To maintain and build positive relationships with internal and external suppliers.
• Provide appropriate, relevant and timely advice and management reports to the Commissioning & Compliance Officer.
Contracts and Commissioning Administration
• Ensure that the commissioning arrangements comply with European Union, National and regulations.
• To be responsible as directed by the Commissioning & Compliance Officer for: Compliance, Commissioning, Service Performance and Client engagement.
• Ensure all contracts meet legal duties and requirements and recommend and action any changes to the commissioning service as a result of changing practices, strategies and regulations.
You will ideally have:
* NVQ Level 3 in business management/commissioning/passenger transport plans or equivalent.
* Broad knowledge of various IT systems and packages.
* Knowledge of budget and contract monitoring.
* Knowledge of report writing.
* A high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care and the ability to set an example for other staff.
* Strong interpersonal skills to gain the agreement and acceptance of others including colleagues, senior managers and customers.
* Ability to make decisions and solve problems to meet operational targets, involving devising solutions and procurement guidelines, prioritising tasks.
* Ability to work as part of a team or independently where required.
* Ability to meet agreed objectives and delivery targets by the effective use of resources.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
