Water Production are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. Working on water treatment works and associated assets, you will be responsible for completing a wide range of tasks including planned cyclic work and responding to reactive work when it arises. The area of the team is much larger, and you will be asked to perform tasks at the other assets within the Sheffield production team, these include but are not limited to, chemicals deliveries, tank cleaning, use of mobile plant and equipment. Management of chemical deliveries Maintenance and operation of the company's sludge systems Cleaning and maintenance of process systems tanks and instruments Transportation of chemicals and equipment Flexible working including weekends Maintaining and promoting a safe working environment Compliance with the Companies Health and Safety policy What skills & qualifications you will need: Experience of understanding where your role fits within a business plan and then developing ways to deliver the outputs. Develops and maintains effective internal and external relationships. Experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours. GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Driving licence Hands on practical skills Safe entry into confined spaces training (medical required) IT literate - experience of Microsoft systems and SCADA. You will also benefit from having: Experience of delivering against challenging business targets. Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment. Previous experience gained within the water or waste water sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors. Experience working on a water production asset Knowledge of sludge treatment processes NVQ or equivalent in relevant subject Experience in use of mobile plant and equipment.
