What is the opportunity?
Our Glasgow office offers a range of services, including private client financial planning, investment management, and services for professional intermediaries. The team offers a service that places clients at the centre of a circle of professional advice, dedicated to making their wealth work for them.
They are now looking for a Wealth Paraplanner to join the team on a permanent basis. You will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and build knowledge through exposure to various client planning scenarios.
What will you do?
* You will provide appropriate support for Wealth Manager and Wealth Directors and will liaise effectively with the administration team.
* Analyse client’s aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
* Production of robust financial plans and analytical information.
* Support preparation of client review and new client meetings.
* Support colleagues with client interaction and by developing an awareness of client management and advice processes.
* In this role, you will be aware of the office business plans and understand how your role supports the office/team in achieving its goals.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* You will have previous experience as a Paraplanner, with knowledge across various wealth planning topics including complex planning.
* Attained CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
* Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
* Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.
* Flexible and reliable team member.
Nice-to-have
* Working towards, or attained, CII Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
