Job Title: Industrial Services Engineering Technician
Location: Tutbury, Staffordshire
Salary: £60,395.62 (inclusive of shift allowance and contractual overtime) + potential bonus + other fantastic benefits
Shift pattern: 3 on/3 off – 12-hour shifts.

Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity here in Tutbury, we are looking for an Industrial Services Engineering Technician to join the engineering team to support with boiler operations, plant maintenance of steam, refrigeration, effluent and coffee grounds handling from a proactive and reactive perspective. This role is a 3 on 3 off shift position.
Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Staffordshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after a £250 million investment over the last few years. The factory produces several of the most well-known Nescafé products in the world through freeze-dried, spray dried, pod coffee production technologies and is at the forefront of coffee production globally.

A day in the life of… an Industrial Services Engineering Technician
1. Working in the industrial services team in daily operations and maintenance functions.
2. Carrying out daily preventative maintenance tasks.
3. Reacting to breakdowns with a sense of urgency and safety.
4. Investment in personal and team development.
5. Using SAP system to capture work orders and sign off tasks.
6. Working on engineering improvement projects.
7. Supporting the senior technician in delivering day to day objectives.
What will make you successful?
We’re looking for an experienced engineering technician and enthusiastic person to join our team. You will need to be a flexible individual with excellent attention to detail to succeed in our fast-paced environment.
Other key attributes are:
1. Advanced apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is essential – NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum standard, ideally with an Electrical bias.
2. HNC in similar discipline would be desirable.
3. Electrical qualifications and experience to support would be desirable but will consider Mechanical experience also.
4. Exceptional ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
5. Previous experience working in an automated manufacturing/industrial service process.
6. Experience working flexible shift patterns in a multifunctional team.
7. Good knowledge of asset maintenance.
8. Knowledge of TPM.
9. Knowledge of boiler house maintenance and operations would be desirable as would knowledge working with industrial refrigeration plant.
