Computer Science Teacher Location: South Liverpool Contract: Full-time, March 2025 – January 2026 A unique opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a small SEMH school in the south of Liverpool. This full-time role involves teaching students from Year 7 to Year 11, supporting their academic and personal development in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The school is committed to helping learners achieve their potential across a range of academic and vocational areas. Students benefit from tailored support, with all having Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Classes are organized into year group forms, with additional ‘Engagement Centre’ Nurture Groups providing extra support for students who require it. The Role: Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons tailored to individual student needs. Support students in achieving formal academic qualifications. Act as a positive role model, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. Work collaboratively with the team to support learners’ personal and academic development. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience teaching Computer Science, preferably in SEMH or similar settings. Be nurturing, supportive, and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning. Demonstrate the ability to set a positive example for students. Be passionate about working with students with additional needs and helping them achieve their goals.
