Are you looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? Our client is a unique organisation dedicated to providing expert veterinary care for individuals across the UK who might otherwise struggle to afford treatment for their pets. What they do is more than just a job - it's a mission that matters.
They are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join their amazing team in the vibrant city of Liverpool. Known for its lively nightlife, fantastic dining options, and an excellent shopping centre, Liverpool has so much to offer both day and night.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified vet nurse, ready to embrace the challenges that come with the wide variety of cases seen at the hospital. You'll need to be confident in communicating with a diverse range of colleagues and clients, willing to share your knowledge, and lead by example. Your role will include consultations, in-patient care, dispensing medications, and assisting in theatre, including performing schedule 3 surgeries.
This is a fast-paced environment, so finding a work-life balance that fits your needs is important to them as much as it is to you. Flexible working options are available, and they encourage open conversations about how they can support your personal and professional requirements.
The veterinary team has a broad range of clinical interests, giving you access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise when discussing cases and treatment plans. The hospital is modern and well-equipped, featuring separate dog and cat kennels, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, and extensive orthopaedic equipment. The size of the team also allows for a flexible approach to weekend rotas and any out-of-hours work, with enhanced pay and downtime during the week when weekends are required.
Our client is committed to being a fantastic place to work, where everyone feels connected to their purpose and genuinely believes in the difference they make. This commitment has earned them recognition as one of the top 25 big organisations to work for in the UK according to the Best Companies survey.
