About this role
You will be responsible for working closely with partners, stakeholders, and internal teams to develop the skills, knowledge, and capabilities needed to create a workforce that delivers safe, welcoming, and person-centred sport and physical activity opportunities for all. You’ll also play a key role in diversifying the workforce and adapting pathways to meet changing community needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clubs, coaches, volunteers, and professional staff to build capacity and improve infrastructure.
* Develop and deliver initiatives that create safe, inclusive, and sustainable environments for sport and physical activity.
* Work with local stakeholders to increase participation and accessibility for underrepresented groups.
* Support workforce development by organizing training, workshops, and resources to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Monitor and evaluate programs to ensure they align with regional priorities and meet community demands.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for sport and community development. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience: Proven track record in workforce development, community engagement, or sports development.
* Skills: Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Knowledge: Understanding of inclusive practices, volunteer management, and club development.
* Values: Commitment to creating accessible and person-centred opportunities for all.
