The Opportunity
As a Mechanical Services Engineer you will be a key part of the Building Services Engineering Team, working on multidisciplinary projects while providing guidance to graduates and work for/outputs of technicians on your projects. You will be part of a team of over 30 engineers and technicians mechanically spread between Birmingham and Nottingham city centre offices which form a Midlands Region and sit a Property team of over 120 civil, structural, electrical and mechanical engineers.
The role will see you:
* Being involved in all stages of our projects from feasibility through to completion across several sectors, including advanced manufacturing, health, education, energy, sport, commercial and mixed-use developments.
* Enabling our clients to move their projects towards Zero Carbon.
* Playing a part in the ever-increasing digital transformation of our business, seeking new ways to increase our efficiency through automation and to offer new services to our clients through our integrated digital approach to design.
Is this role right for you?
We’re looking for a candidate who:
* Has a qualification in Mechanical, Building Services or Architectural Engineering.
* Is working towards a Chartered Engineer status via an appropriate professional institution such as IMechE or CIBSE.
* Has worked on medium-large scale projects for aspects of the Mechanical Services Engineering with responsibility for technician outputs.
* Has background of working within a BIM environment using Revit.
* Has worked with dynamic thermal modelling (IES preferred).
