A global Tier One main contractor is looking to hire a Bid Coordinator for their new offices in London Paddington, working on the tender process for major civil engineering projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress and develop at an internationally recognised civil engineering company, working on some of the most exciting infrastructure projects in the UK.
Job Responsibilities:
* Review and understand client tender documentation to develop and provide tender briefings.
* Independently produce high quality and well-structured client focused submissions for PQQs and tenders
* Research and collate information for use as evidence.
* Collating, developing and writing some technical answers
* Producing organisation charts, CVs and other supporting documents
* Checking that draft submissions adequately answer the questions and sourcing information to address omissions
* Designing and preparing bid submission folders
* Using online tendering and planning portals
* Preparing post tender presentations
* Developing and maintaining project case studies, site photographs and other like materials
* Sourcing information, developing and managing databases
* Tracking market trends for presentation software and materials
* Undertaking market research
Person Specification:
* Previous employment at a Civil Engineering main contractor as a Bid Writer, Bid Manager, Proposals Manager, Proposals Co-ordinator, Proposals Engineer, Submissions Manager, Tender Writer, Bid Author or Bid Coordinator.
* Preferably degree qualified in a subject with a high focus on creating high quality written work
* Excellent English language (vocabulary), grammar and communication skills
