Position Snapshot Business area: Nestle Beverage Job Title: Bagging Operator - 12 months Fixed Term Contract Location: Dalston, Cumbria Level: Process & Craft Shift: 6-2/2-10 (rotating weekly) - Monday-Friday - flexibility will be a requirement to meet department demands. Salary: £32,963.60 (inclusive of contractual overtime) potential bonus and other fantastic benefits. Position Summary We are currently recruiting for a Bagging Operator to join our Manufacturing department at our state-of-the-art coffee manufacturing plant in Dalston, Cumbria. Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will support the bagging stage of our coffee manufacturing operation. You will do this by complying with Safety, Quality and Production standards, helping to deliver customer satisfaction. You will be a strong team player with a practical approach to your work and a great can-do attitude. The successful candidates will complete a month-long training programme, enabling you to support the daily operations in the department. You will also be responsible for carrying out daily compliance checks, including safety, cleaning, and area organisation ownership. We are looking for self-motivated people, who can work both individually and part of a team. What will make you successful? To be successful in this role you must demonstrate an ability to effectively prioritise your workload within a fast-paced environment. As an excellent communicator you must also be a proactive and responsible individual with drive and enthusiasm. You will be well organised with a sense of urgency to respond rapidly to problems and achieve departmental goals. Your proactivity and creativity will help you to contribute ideas, improving the areas of your responsibility and where possible rectifying problems encountered during your shift. If candidates have a valid, in date counterbalance forklift licence, this would be a distinct advantage but is non-essential. What you need to know What can we offer in return?
