We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative individual to support the Gynaecology service within Women’s services, based at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital.
The candidate should have experience in a similar operational role which would include working with the service to support waiting times both IP and OP, Cancer targets and service delivery at a high level. The role will be to support the Service and Unit Operational Management teams and duties include collation of reports as required in relation to waiting times and assisting the Service with re-design and day-to-day service provision. The post holder should be enthusiastic, motivated and possess good organisational, time management and communication skills.
Women’s Services will be moving to the Baird Family Hospital in 2025/26, therefore this is an excellent opportunity to be part of this significant redesign of the services.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with previous similar service NHS hospital experience being essential.
They must have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player, be self-motivated and have the ability to manage and prioritise a varied and challenging workload with competing demands. Excellent IT skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, alongside good communication skills are required. A degree of flexibility may also be required.
