About the role
The Information Technology Support Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of Windows desktop and laptop machines, user support, and general infrastructure maintenance. This will require the use of Jira Service Desk for ticket management and prioritization.
The Information Technology Support Administrator reports to the Infrastructure Manager and supports hardware and software across the business using the Jira service desk application. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources for all users within the environment.
Your responsibilities:
* Provide user desktop support, including laptop configuration, imaging, troubleshooting, and software installations to all Pepper UK and PGS employees.
* Manage Windows Active Directory, O365 (Azure VDI), and Microsoft Windows 11 administration, ensuring effective user management.
* Configure and maintain printers, copiers, telephony/softphone systems, and software installations.
* Troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity and anti-virus issues (Sophos), with a strong focus on security.
* Conduct general maintenance of user requirements, offer remote assistance to remote users, and communicate effectively at all levels, handling general maintenance and any reasonable duties requested by management.
* 3+ years of experience as IT Support administrator or similar.
* PC/Laptop hardware configuration and troubleshooting experience.
* Solid experience of Jira, Windows Active Directory, O365 (Azure VDI), Microsoft Windows 11, and Sophos.
* Strong English skills (written and verbal).
* Team player attitude, detail-oriented, and adaptive to a fast-paced environment.
