A trusted partner to organisations operating in the private and public sectors are seeking a Management Accountant. You will be covering the organisations groups of 8 companies, managing the accounts.
Founded in 2017 they have experienced expediential growth and now provide hard facilities management, repair, planned maintenance, mechanical and electrical, passive fire protection and statutory compliance services via its businesses.
You will be based full-time out of their modern Head Office located in Tamworth, close to all local amenities, transport routes and free parking.
The working hours of the Management Accountant will be:
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00.
Full-time, office working. No hybrid.
The duties of the Management Accountant will include:
Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts in a timely manner
Reconciliation of control accounts / balance sheet accounts and chasing through any issues
Assist with Profit and Loss analysis and any queries relating thereto
Assistance with reconciling intercompany balances and loan accounts
Preparation and filing of various ONS reports
Reviewing of company credit card analysis and controls
Preparation of monthly sales data for key customers
Preparation of monthly rebate registers for the group including approving invoices for repayment to customers
Assisting with general queries and analysis work
Preparation of VAT returns and submission
Support external auditors
Additional support to accounts and credit control teams
Support to all departments as required
We are looking for a Management Accountant with:
Show excellent attention to detail, be able to concentrate and prioritise your workload and self-manage your time to make sure everything is done to the correct process, in a timely fashion
Effective communication and organisational skills, ability to communicate at all levels throughout the business and collaborate across all departments.
Prior experience in preparing management accounts including servicing
AAT or equivalent desired
Must have Knowledge of the Construction Industry Tax Scheme (CIS)
Open to practise or industry experience
