Telford & Wrekin Library Service is looking for a keen individual to join the team as a Weekend Library Assistant. This role is based at Southwater Library every Saturday for 4 hours.
Brief overview of the role:
The library service is a valued resource within the community. This role provides a highly customer-focused service to the public. Duties will include:
* Serving customers
* Answering general and book-related enquiries
* Issuing, discharging and shelving books
* Helping customers in the use of IT via public access PCs
Skills and experience:
Candidates must be:
* able to work accurately, at times under pressure
* able to establish good relationships with both customers and colleagues
* have a friendly and outgoing personality
* have enthusiasm for developing new skills
