About You
The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing efficient and flexible support to the operations and project teams in a range of financial and fund management tasks. The Finance Manager will have overall responsibility ensuring the recording of financial transactions and reporting to management and Trustees. A CCAB qualification is essential for this role as is previous experience in a similar role.
Hours: We expect the role to be part-time 20 hours per week (FTE 40 hours per week) primarily office-based in Cardiff- though we are open to flexible hours arrangements and hybrid working.
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 pro rata

Essential Criteria
* Experience working on project finances with computerised accounting packages.
* Understanding of charity accounting requirements and financial reporting to government donors in a non-profit context.
* Excellent numeracy and MS Excel skills.
* Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
* Proven administration skills with good attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem solving and a willingness to take on additional tasks and work flexibly as part of a small team.
* CCAB qualified (AAT or chartered accountant), educated to degree level or equivalent, with two or more years’ relevant experience.
* Good time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Passion for our mission to support asylum seekers and refugees integrate effectively and flourish in their lives here in Wales;
* Demonstration of Oasis’ values, including compassion, inclusivity, accountability.
* Transparent communications, seeking improvement and support without defensiveness;
* A strong commitment to delivering excellent services for our beneficiaries;
* Someone who takes our work incredibly seriously but doesn’t take themselves too seriously; able to share a laugh amongst all the hard work being done!
