Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Support: Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging lessons and keep students focused and motivated.
2. Cover Classes: Step in to lead the classroom during a teacher's absence, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
3. Interventions: Facilitate small and large group interventions, focusing on essential skills in literacy and numeracy, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
4. Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote respect and a safe learning space.
5. Support Individual Needs: Provide targeted support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring inclusivity in all activities.
6. Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and support staff, sharing insights on student progress and any concerns.
7. Safeguarding: Uphold the school's safeguarding policies to ensure the well-being of all students.

Qualifications and Experience
1. Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
2. Experience: Minimum of 12 weeks working with children in a UK school setting.
3. Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training within the last year is desirable; some training will be provided.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must:
1. Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
2. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for one.
3. Provide two professional references related to childcare or educational settings.
