Cooper Lomaz are excited to offer a career opportunity with a local IT provider based in Bury St Edmunds for a IT Support Technician. The business is an outsourced IT provider, who support companies across East Anglia with their existing IT, providing consultancy advice to companies, and installing new products.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1st – 2nd line IT Support remotely and in person
2. Triage inbound tickets, phone calls and emails
3. Prioritise workload, ensuring the support is divided amongst the team
4. Installing new systems across infrastructure, networks, deploying hardware and installing software
Required Skills:
5. Have experience working with Active Directory, Office 365 Admin, and Networks
6. Knowledge of On-Prem and Cloud servers
7. Track record of troubleshooting software and hardware
8. Background tackling 1st – 2nd line tickets
9. Outstanding customer service skills
Desired Skills:
10. Virtualisation – VMware or Hyper-V
11. Cloud – Either AWS or Azure
12. Experience working on server migrations.
13. Experience in IT security
