About the role:
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team at the BYD UK office in Uxbridge, London. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of the BYD UK Auto business. You will also provide and manage system support services and administration for the group's computer infrastructure, software, and systems. Fluency in the Chinese language is a must for this position.
Tasks & Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Cooperating with the HQ IT team to carry out the planning, implementation, upgrading, optimization and transformation of the IT network/server/infrastructure;
* Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks and applications;
* Continuously monitor and maintain systems and networks;
* Respond to technical support calls from other staff members or clients and communicate how to resolve issues;
* Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults or hardware complications;
* Support the roll-out of new applications;
* Keep a record of issues, along with solutions, to refer back to in future instances;
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues;
* Management of the IT inventory, including hardware items as well as software licenses and warranties;
* Cooperating with the HQ IT team to implement network security;
* Efficiently and effectively responding to requests for IT support and providing solutions by cooperating with the HQ IT team;
* Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization;
* Preparing computers/laptops and other IT equipment for employees, and managing computers and other IT office equipment;
* Other related activities and contingent assignments.

* Bachelor`s degree in computer science or IT-related majors.
* 1 years of IT Support-related work experience.
