Good IT and computer skills are essential for this position. Key responsibilities and duties include: Triaging appointment requests and booking appointments appropriately for patients Handling incoming telephone calls to the surgery Processing repeat prescriptions according to practice policy Scanning and processing medical documents through SystmOne (clinical system) Completing tasks set by the practice manager and the doctors / clinicians Opening and closing front doors in line with opening times Greeting patients kindly and courteously Working as part of a team collaboratively with other team members Preparing the surgery, waiting area, consulting rooms in preparation for clinics Main duties of the job Good IT and computer skills are essential for this position.
