Marshall's Land Systems are currently recruiting for Skilled Paint Sprayers to work both DAYS and NIGHTS. The role plays a pivotal role in some high-profile military projects, and your ideas and contribution will be valued in a business where people really matter. Training will be provided on the products and there is scope for further development and progression within the Company.
Pay:
DAYS: PAYE pays £21.17 per hour flat rate (£3.29's worth of holiday pay is paid on top) or Umbrella pays £28.81 per hour, any O/Time pays £31.76 per hour PAYE or £43.23 Umbrella.
NIGHTS: PAYE pays £25.15 per hour flat rate (holiday pay is paid on top) or Umbrella pays £34.24 per hour, any O/Time pays £28.68 per hour PAYE or £43.23 Umbrella.
Hours:
DAYS is 7.15am - 3.45pm Monday to Thursday with a half day finish on Fridays.
NIGHTSHIFT is Monday - Thursday 9.25 hours (6:30pm start and a 04:15am finish, with a half hour break at 01:00am).

Your responsibilities in this role include:
1. Spraying components of varying sizes.
2. Working with a variety of paints from gloss to matt, water based and solvent.
3. Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
4. Ability to sort all paint defects interior or exterior using various tools and techniques, be it by using spray gun, brush head or roller head.
5. Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.
6. Be fully conversant with all equipment and tools associated with the Paint Spraying process.
7. To spray units as per customer specification using electrostatic spray pumps and single/twin pack paints.
8. Check and complete all paperwork associated with the Manufacturing data pack.
9. To support the Production Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all Marshall Land System projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
10. Take an active role in continuous improvements, to include lean and 5s procedures.
11. Ensure equipment and tooling required is identified to the line manager.
Apply if you have the following or equivalent:
1. Time served as a painter with a proven track record of paint experience.
2. Experience in commercial vehicle, motor trade and aircraft paint spraying.
3. Fully trained in working with various primers and topcoats including water based and solvent based paints.
4. City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent time served.
