JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES MANAGER - Hospitality / Entertainment, Urban Playground, UK Job Title: Sales Manager – Urban Playground, UK Location: Nottingham, other sites for training and working if required Responsible to: Group Manager UK – Urban Playground UK Responsible for: Sales Executives Main Purpose/Function of Job: Lead the sales team of a premium competitive socialising and entertainment brand with sites located around the UK. Selling group bookings and events packages to prospective customers. To develop exceptional sales performance standards across all aspects of the central sales department. To work closely with the site General Managers and Group Booking Coordinators to deliver a world class group booking experience. To effectively seek out new group booking leads and ensure the sales pipeline has a constant feed of new business. To achieve and exceed the monthly sales target and sales KPIs. Use sales insights and site feedback to assist with the development of high quality group booking packages. Working with the Group Manager regarding recruiting, deploying, motivating and managing the sales team. Produce and present sales reports to higher management. Person Specification Essential: Experience in a senior sales role directly overseeing sales operations. Experience of working to and achieving clear KPIs. Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets. Solid track record of delivering exceptional customer service standards in a management role. Good understanding of general event management operations. General understanding of basic HR procedures. Good understanding of Microsoft Office and very comfortable with technology. Flexible approach to working including occasional late night and weekend shifts. Experience of selling group packages, and event packages. Desirable: Experience managing a sales team. Experience working in a leisure, visitor attraction, entertainment or hospitality setting. Experience covering a full sales process.
