Our client, a leading global asset manager, is looking to recruit an Equity Research Analyst to cover the MedTech sector.
The successful candidate will work independently to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the MedTech sector and generate investment recommendations for a range of portfolios.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed bottom-up fundamental equity analysis of stocks to generate investment ideas
* Produce and maintain financial models, keeping abreast of any market developments
* Communicate research and stock ideas with Portfolio Managers and the rest of the investment team
* Participate in company management meetings and site visits
* Contribute to wider investment debate
Candidate profile:
* Relevant experience within buy-side or sell-side equity research
* Deep knowledge of the MedTech sector
* Excellent academic background
* Ideally CFA qualified
* Genuine passion for investing
* Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
* High level of intellectual curiosity
* Team player
