Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Provide visionary leadership and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers, contributing to team development and ensuring alignment with company goals. Project Management: Oversee the delivery of complex projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to budget and timeline. Technical Expertise: Lead electrical building services design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data, and building automation systems, ensuring high standards of sustainability and innovation. Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong relationships, understanding project needs, and ensuring client satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control throughout project stages, conducting technical reviews and driving continuous improvement processes. Sustainability Focus: Integrate energy-efficient, low-carbon design principles into all aspects of electrical engineering, promoting sustainable solutions that align with modern regulatory standards. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive, optimised project outcomes. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical building services engineering, with a proven track record in leadership roles. Comprehensive understanding of building services design principles, standards, and regulations. Expertise in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools. Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
