Senior Asset Engineer York / Stratford / Remote Up to £62,546 Hybrid
The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural / Civil Engineer to lead the buildings & structures assessment team at one of the UK s largest and Best Places to Work (Source Glassdoor).
The Civils & Infrastructure Team at Ford & Stanley are currently partnered with Network Rail to find them an experienced Engineer to join their Route Engineering Team in their Eastern Region, overseeing the Anglia route as Senior Asset Engineer (Structures).
In this dynamic position, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of rail infrastructure by providing innovative route-based asset management and structural engineering expertise.
This role will empower you to drive impactful structures asset management processes, focusing on condition, capability, and the sustainable delivery of key regulatory objectives, whilst collaborating and providing engineering support with operational teams, ensuring the network operates at its highest potential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise relating to bridge/structural design and assessments.
* Manage risk and ensure non-conformance issues are mitigated.
* Prioritise and create the work bank for CP7 and beyond.
* Drive continuous improvement and look at creating efficiencies.
* Ensure all information is collated within Network Rail s asset management database.

What they need from you:
1. Essential: Civil / Structural Engineering degree or equivalent.
2. Essential: Significant client-side Asset Management or Bridge / Structural Design experience, preferably rail-based.
3. Essential: Significant experience in a relevant role, or roles (e.g., Asset Engineer, Structural Engineer, Asset Manager, Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Design Manager, Engineering Manager).
4. Essential: Experience managing and compiling large amounts of asset management data.
5. Essential: Chartered or Incorporated status.
6. Essential: Strong stakeholder management, & ideally line management experience.
7. Desirable: Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Access, Power BI, and Excel.
