This is a fast-paced environment, so it will suit someone who can multi-task and make decisions on their feet while maintaining excellent communication and customer service to both colleagues and clients.
You will be working within the operations team, utilising the plumbing, heating, electrical, and Air Conditioning divisions. This department is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all aspects of the company in both residential and commercial buildings. In your day-to-day duties, you will routinely work directly with engineers, other managers, and clients to ensure customer satisfaction while assisting the Head of Operations to meet department goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Scheduling and directing the engineers to meet service demands and customer expectations.
2. Communicating regularly with other departments and divisions to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency, and training requirements.
3. Reviewing work orders, purchase invoices, and time reports for accuracy, and invoicing clients in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Attending divisional meetings with the Head of Department, reporting any operational issues.
Requirements:
1. Three years of customer service related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Technical aptitude with knowledge of current IT systems and an ability to use resources at hand to find solutions.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills.
4. Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
5. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background.
6. Ability and willingness to work a non-standard schedule: nights, weekends, and holidays as/if required.
